Advice on using Garmin connect and Apple Watch together. So like many I have an Apple Watch. I really like it as my daily watch. It’s slim, comfortable, works well with iPhone, can use it for smart control of house etc. Separately, I’ve just upgraded from an edge 800 to 1030 plus and for the first time and getting serious about running. 2 days old new Garmin 945 and serious problem with RUNNING activity and HRM-Run (red) chest strap. I can pair it but right after I start running activity after about 2-3 minutes chest strap disconnects and watch start to measure my heart rate from wrist. Exactly for the reason I wrote - the HRM-Run was not designed to be a standalone device that you can add to Garmin Connect…. robinmalik over 3 years ago in reply to trux +1. Ah, so the Garmin connect app isn't designed to do any kind of GPS / tracking at all, but simply take all required data from a standalone device and upload it to the
not apply anti-friction gel or lubricant on the electrodes. The heart rate monitor is on standby and ready to send data. Wear the heart rate monitor directly on your skin, just below your breastplate. It should be snug enough to stay in place during your run. 1. Push one tab on the strap through the slot in the heart rate monitor. Press the tab
